- The Mocs fall to UT Martin 31-21 in the season opener for both teams.  It is the fourth year in a row UTC has lost the first game of the season. 

- The Mocs are 72-31-3 (.693) in home openers all-time.  UTC is 10-6 in home openers at Finley Stadium. 

- Chattanooga is now 4-4 when playing on Thursday nights in Finley Stadium.

- Tonight’s attendance of 11,163 is the 11th largest crowd in Finley Stadium history and the eighth highest in the Russ Huesman era. 

- The Mocs is 12-9 at home in the Russ Huesman era…this is the first non-conference home loss under Huesman. 

- UTC's defense forced three turnovers...two fumbles and an interception.

- 5 catches for 73 yards and a TD
- Tied a career-high for receiving and set a mark for receiving yards.

Jacob Huesman – So.-QB
- 17-30 for 226 yards and three TDs against one INT.
- Eight passing yards shy of a career-high. 
- Ran for 90 yards on 22 carries.

Gunner Miller - Sr.-LB
- Tied a career-high with nine tackles.

Faysal Shafaat – Jr.-TE
- Four catches for 45 yards and two TDs.
- First multi-TD game of his career. 

Davis Tull - Jr.-DE
- Three tackles and a sack.
- 18.5 career sacks is second all-time at UTC.

Dee Virgin – Fr.-DB
- Made his first career interception and recovered a fumble.
- Added two tackles and a PBU.
