University of Tennessee at Chattanooga freshman Corey Levin was recently named to the College Sports Journal 2013 FCS All-Freshman Second Team. Levin started all season for the Mocs on the offensive line.
A native of Dacula, Ga., Levin was an anchor for the Chattanooga offense at left tackle. He blocked for quarterback Jacob Huesman, the 2013 Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Year, and was one of three Mocs to make the SoCon All-Freshman Team.
UTC finished in the top-25 in the nation in rushing offense, posting 212.4 yards per game. That’s the most yards on the ground for Chattanooga since the 2005 season.
The Mocs finished 8-4 overall, grabbing their first share of a SoCon title since 1984 with a 6-2 league mark. Chattanooga checked in at No. 23 in the final Sports Network FCS Top-25, its first final national ranking since that ’84 season.
