Mocs Sign One More to 2011 Recruiting Class
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga head football coach Russ Huesman added a two-star defensive end to his 2011 recruiting class today.  Darian Stewart from Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, Ga., signed his National Letter of Intent and brings Chattanooga's 2011 signing class to 21.

Stewart (6-2, 225) was rated a two star prospect by, recording 60 tackles in seven games for the Falcons in 2010.  He played for head coach Randall Smith and was an all-region performer as a junior.  He is the eighth member of the Mocs' 2011 class with at-least a two-star rating.

"When we heard he was still available on signing day we were very excited," stated Coach Huesman.  "He is a talented and versatile player.  He played linebacker in high school, but we think he can be a defensive end for us."

An All-County selection as a senior, Stewart recorded over 150 tackles in the last two seasons.  He was selected to play in the Senior Bowl and was a member of the National Honor Society.
