- The  Mocs dropped a 23-12 contest at No. 15 Georgia Southern tonight.  UTC falls to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in SoCon play.  Georgia Southern improves to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in league action.

- The Mocs totaled 239 rushing yards in the game…third straight game with at least them much offense on the ground. 

- UTC defense did not allow any passing yards in the game…Georgia Southern missed on both of their pass attempts. 

- Georgia Southern came into the game with an FCS-best 52.0 scoring average.  Chattanooga held the Eagles to less than half of that tonight. 

- The Eagles came into the game No. 1 in the FCS in rushing yards at 407.7.  The Mocs held them to 377 tonight. 

- UTC’s second quarter scoring drive was 80 yards on 15 plays (6:45)…the longest drive of the season for the Mocs.

- The Mocs lost the turnover battle for the first time this season…UTC had one interception late in the game. 

- UTC was flagged for a season-high 75 yards on 11 penalties.

- Ran for a season-high 148 yards on 14 carries.
- 5th career 100-yard rushing game…1st this season.
- 51 yard TD run in the first quarter is the longest run by a Moc this season. 
- Most rushing yards by a Moc this season.
- 9-19 passing for 92 yards, TD and INT.
- Has 20 career passing TDs…tied for 9th all-time at UTC with Cedric Stevens (2004).

- Longest play from scrimmage for the Mocs.
