Mocs Are Back in the Top 25

Coming off a 35-28 win at Appalachian State, the Mocs first victory in Boone in over 30 years, UTC is 7-2 overall and in first place in the Southern Conference at 5-1.  Chattanooga is off to its best start since 1980 and riding its first-ever five-game winning streak in SoCon action.

UTC was No. 24 in The Sports Network and No. 25 in the FCS Coaches Poll in the preseason and has received votes throughout the year.  This is the 10th week the Mocs have been ranked in the Russ Huesman era.  Prior to Huesman’s arrival in 2009, the Mocs had not been ranked since 1997.
