Mocs Set for Second Spring Scrimmage Friday at Finley

With 10 practices under its belt, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team is set to hold its second scrimmage of Spring Practice on Friday at Finley Stadium.  The Mocs will take the field at 4:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) and the session is open to the public. 

Chattanooga is closing a busy week of work at the Murphy-Haugerud Football Practice Complex at Scrappy Moore Field.  The Mocs put in full sessions on Monday and Wednesday and held their Pro Day on Tuesday.

Friday’s scrimmage will look a lot like the first one last week.  Fans can expect to see roughly 90 plays of action, covering situations all over the field. 

UTC is a week away from hosting the annual Spring Game at Finley Stadium.  The event is scheduled for Friday, April 11, at 7:00 p.m.  Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with the FREE Kids Clinic beginning at 5:15 p.m. on the field with UTC coaches, student-athletes and staff.  Parents can register their kids, eighth grade and under, at the gate on Friday, or save time and preregister here
