SOCCER TO HOST PAIR OF SOUTHERN CONFERENCE OPPONENTS OVER WEEKEND
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's soccer team will play host to Western Carolina Friday evening and Appalachian State Sunday afternoon at Finley Stadium.
Chattanooga is 3-10-1 overall with a 3-2 win over Elon last month and a double-overtime 2-2 tie with Wofford in its last outing. Junior Donna-Kay Henry (Queens Village, N.Y.) leads the Lady Mocs with 14 points on six goals and two assists. Junior Danielle Barr (Hixson, Tenn.), sophomore Becca Smith (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) and freshman Kerbi Towry (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) each have two goals apiece and sophomore Lauren Wilson (Columbia, Tenn.) leads the team with three assists.
Freshman keeper Taylor Mangrum (Franklin, Tenn.) leads the league with 95 saves and is ranked seventh in the SoCon with a .805 saves percentage.

SCOUTING WESTERN CAROLINA
The Catamounts are 5-7-2 overall and 2-3-1 in SoCon action. Western Carolina is on a two-game SoCon win streak having defeated Georgia Southern and Davidson, both by shutout. The Catamounts went to a 0-0 double-overtime tie with Wofford and posted losses to The Citadel, College of Charleston and at Furman. Christine Kaznowski leads WCU with 12 points on five goals and two assists while Laura Greb has three goals and a team-best three assists. Caitlin Williams has played all 1300 minutes in goal for WCU with five shutouts. She has 84 saves and has allowed 18 goals for a 1.25 goals against average.
Chattanooga vs. WESTERN CAROLINA
Western Carolina leads the Lady Mocs with a 7-2-2 record. Last year the two teams went to a 3-3 draw after the Cats scored on a corner kick with 17 seconds to go in the game. The Lady Mocs are 1-2-2 against Western Carolina at home and 1-1-1 at Finley Stadium.

SCOUTING APPALACHIAN STATE
The Mountaineers are 4-5-4 overall with a 1-2-3 SoCon mark. In its last match, ASU defeated Georgia Southern for it's lone SoCon win and have drawn out double-OT ties at Furman and Wofford and against Davidson. App State fell 2-1 in ovetime to The Citadel and was shutout 4-0 by the College of Charleston. Hannah Coad leads the Mountaineers with two of the teams eight goals with six others recording one apiece. Michelle Jewel and Taylor Dunlap have two assists each. Caroline Clarke has logged the majority of minutes for ASU in goal and has given up all 15 goals allowed while recording 67 saves.
Chattanooga vs. appalachian state
Appalachian State leads the series with the Lady Mocs 10-3-2. UTC grabbed a 2-1 overtime win last year in Chattanooga. The Lady Mocs' first game at Finley Stadium was a 2-1 loss to the Mountaineers in 1997.
