The Eagles (5-10, 2-6 SoCon) have claimed Southern Conference wins over Wofford and Elon and are looking to end a four-game losing skid. Sara Oland has eight of Georgia Southern’s 16 goals with her only multi-goal game coming in a 3-0 win over Wofford. Katie Merson has started 13 games for the Eagles and has seen action in all 15. She has 571 saves with a .671 saves percentage and has given up 25 goals, averaging 2.05 goals against.
Chattanooga vs. GEORGIA SOUTHERN
Georgia Southern leads the series with Chattanooga 10-4-1 with UTC winning last year’s match by a 1-0 margin in Chattanooga. Each of the last three contests with the Eagles has gone into overtime with the Lady Mocs posting a 1-0-2 record in that time. Georgia Southern’s last win over UTC was a 1-0 decision in Chattanooga in 2006.
SCOUTING DAVIDSON (5-8-3, 1-4-3 SoCon)

Generally a powerhouse in the league, Davidson is struggling this season with a 1-4-3 conference mark. The Wildcats posted a 2-0 win over College of Charleston at home for its lone win of the year, but have ties with Furman (1-1), Wofford (2-2) and Appalachian State (0-0). Allison Drutchas, Amanda Flink and Deprise Brazel each have three goals for the Wildcats with Drutchas leading the charge with seven assists and 13 points. Jessie Baxa has started all 13 games in goal and has made 60 saves and given up 17 goals.
Chattanooga vs. DAVIDSON
Davidson is 13-1-1 against Chattanooga with a six-game win streak dating back to the SoCon tournament of 2004. The Lady Mocs’ lone win came that year in the regular season with a 4-0 win over the Wildcats on the road. In the previous season, UTC took Davidson to a scoreless tie breaking a then seven-game win streak.
