SPARTANBURG,  S.C. --- University of Tennessee at Chattanooga junior Donna-Kay Henry (Queens Village, N.Y.) was named to the Southern Conference women's soccer All-Conference First Team the league announced Wednesday.

"D.K. is a very special player," Chattanooga Head Coach J.D. Kyzer said. "Everyone in the conference knows that and has honored that. It is nice for her to get this selection and be recognized."

Henry, a three-year starting forward, has earned her third straight all-conference selection with this being her first time on the First Team. She scored the second-most goals in the league this season with nine and has scored at least eight in each of her three seasons. She is second all-time at UTC for goals with 26 and second all-time for points with 60.

"She works extremely hard on the field and off the field and really cares about her teammates," Kyzer said. "She is very deserving of this award."

UNC Greensboro posted a perfect 11-0 record in league play and placed five on the All-Conference First Team and one on the Second Team. The Citadel, the league's surprise story in 2010, swept the individual awards as freshman forward Mariana Garcia earned both Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors while Bulldogs head coach Bob Winch was voted by his peers as Coach of the Year for the second consecutive campaign.
