QUOTES FROM GAME vs. UNCG - September 24, 2011

Head Coach J.D. Kyzer
On having the game postponed a day
"We were up for the game Friday and ready to play. When the game was postponed, it really affected the team. We have a very young team and having things change can upset the rhythm. We had to sit around the hotel and wait an extra day.

"Having Monday's game postponed will affect us too. The players will miss another day of school and we will take Tuesday off instead of Monday. That will only give us two days to prepare for next Friday's game.

"The effects of having to wait an extra day showed in the game. We did well the first 20-30 minutes, but we were drained. There was a lot of stress in the unknown. Not knowing if we were going to play, not knowing where or when we might play. There was just a lot of stress and it showed."

On UNCG
"They [UNCG] are a very talented team. This was the best team we've played all year. We were able to get through them at the beginning, but it just was not our best game."

On how the team is playing
"D.K. [Henry] and Becca [Smith] are doing a great job, but we aren't able to get the ball to them."

On the rest of the season
"From here on out, every game counts. We are playing in the conference now, so all the game forward matter. Today no longer matters. Monday matters right now. We are together as a team and everyone knows what they need to do. The girls have their heads up and they are together
