The Lady Mocs disembarked from the newly acquired UTC train and jumped into action. The group split up into three teams of eight and began helping freshmen and their parents move into the Boling and Johnson-Obear apartments.

"This is our eighth year," Kyzer said. "We think it's great that so many other groups are participating now."

The Lady Mocs took a break from in the middle of their two-a-day practices and moved everything from televisions and refrigerators to teddy bears and blankets.

The Lady Mocs open the season at Tennessee Tech on Aug. 28 then host Lipscomb at the North River Soccer Complex on Sept. 4 for the home opener. Admission is free to all UTC Lady Mocs soccer games.
