TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --- University of Tennessee at Chattanooga senior Mark Cole (McKenzie, Tenn.) and redshirt freshman Paul Stuart (Brentwood, Tenn.) each posted PRs in the 5000 meter run Friday at the Alabama Relays.
Cole placed seventh overall and ran a time of 14:47.10 while Stuart ran a 14:48.88 in the event. Jeremy Greenwald of Georgia Tech claimed the top spot in the event with a time of 14:11.27.
The Mocs’ Patrick O’Brien (Chattanooga, Tenn.) ran the 1500 meter event in a time of 4:01.59, placing 31st while senior John Gilpin (Nashville, Tenn.) finished 34th with a time of 4:02.42.
In the women’s races on Friday, senior Gabby Cader (Cleveland, Tenn.) and freshman Jasmine Snell placed one behind the other in the women’s 400 meter dash. Cader placed 24th with a time of 1:00.06 while Snell posted a time of 1:01.22. In the 1500 meter run, sophomore Rebecca Greenwall (Bogart, Ga.) ran a time of 4:42.32 while freshman Anna Kate Chance placed 38th overall with a time of 5:07.37.
The Mocs will run Saturday, the third day of the event.
