Seven Lady Mocs Named to All-Conference Teams; Loudermilk Nabs a Pair of Top Honors

Loudermilk led the conference this past season in strikeouts (278) and wins (22). In her first season as a Lady Moc, Loudermilk made 40 appearances and led Chattanooga to its ninth regular season title.
The coaches’ selections are based on nominations from their teams and are not allowed to vote for their own players.
Loudermilk also was one of two pitchers named to the First Team All-Conference Team, with freshman shortstop Tia Blosser (Knoxville, Tenn.) and senior outfielder Jeannie Cochran (Maryville, Tenn.) earning first team honors as well.
Senior pitcher Ashley Frizzell (Soddy Daisy, Tenn.), senior first baseman Alyssa Edwards (Geneva, N.Y.), sophomore designated player Laci Upchurch (Madison, Tenn.) and junior utility player Tara Tembey (Folsom, Calif.) all earned second team honors.
College of Charleston’s first baseman, Jennifer Golden, took home Player of the Year honors. And the Cougars’ head coach, Shelly Hoerner, was voted Coach of the Year.
