This season Loudermilk compiled an 18-8 record with a 1.87 ERA, .189 opposing batting average and posted 242 strikeouts in 44 appearances and 194.1 innings. Additionally, she was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2008 Southern Conference Tournament after a posting a 5-0 record with a 1.01 ERA, 48 strikeouts, seven walks and a .165 opposing batting average while throwing 35.2 innings and appearing in all seven games.
Nationally, she ranked 10th in the nation with a team-leading five saves and finished 28th in Strikeouts per Seven Innings with an 8.70 average. Her 1.87 ERA placed 70th in the country while her 18 victories were good for 76th.
Loudermilk currently holds a 3.77 Grade Point Average in Art Education and becomes the Lady Mocs fourth Academic All-District selection and their first since Leslie Barron was a First Team selection following the 2005 season. She is the first
She also joins Chattanooga Hall of Fame pitcher Beth Alexander, who was not only a two-time All-District First-Team selection, but a two-time Second-Team Academic All-American in 2001 and 2002.
