CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Lady Mocs softball team (18-16, 3-3 SoCon) travels to Cullowhee, N.C., this weekend to take on Western Carolina in a three-game series before the Easter holiday. Chattanooga is set to play a single game Friday against the Catamounts, beginning at 5 p.m., before wrapping up the weekend Saturday with a double-header at Noon.

Senior Sara Poteat (Thomaston, Ga.) continues to lead the offensive attack for the Lady Mocs, batting .358 with a team-high 43 hits, while fellow senior Kasey Tydingco (Fairfield, Calif.) is batting .351 and is tied for the second spot on the team in hits with sophomore Sarah Beth Roberts (Mt. Albritton is 1-1 in conference while Deason claimed two wins over Appalachian State last weekend to improve to 2-1 in SoCon play. Meagan Crowe leads the WCU offense with a .321 average while Amelia Griffin paces the team in hits with 30.
