Softball to Host Annual Banquet on May 4

Coming off its third straight Southern Conference Championship, the Chattanooga softball will hold its 10th annual Lady Mocs Softball Dinner on Monday, May 4.

The event is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. from Country Place Restaurant at 7320 Shallowford Road in Chattanooga. The event is being hosted by the RBI Club and tickets will cost $15.

The Lady Mocs are fresh off claiming their 11th SoCon championship and will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Southern Conference Tournament. The nine-team tournament will be held at Jim Frost Stadium from May 6-10.

The team will wrap up the regular season portion of its schedule this weekend at the College of Charleston.

Third baseman Sarah Beth Roberts collected two hits against Samford Sunday.  The junior was responsible for one run scored and one run driven in.
