Fresh of its third Southern Conference Championship in as many years, the Chattanooga softball team will close out the regular season portion of its schedule with a three-game set at the College of Charleston. The Lady Mocs (25-20/14-3 SoCon) are coming off a weekend where the team took 2-of-3 from rival Georgia Southern for the program’s 11th SoCon title.

Tiffany Baker continues to lead the team at the plate with her .368 batting average, 10 home runs and 33 RBIs. Michelle Fuzzard snapped out of a brief slump last weekend against GSU, going 4-for-7 with two runs batted in.

Fuzzard will also look to keep her undefeated streak inside the conference alive this weekend. So far the sophomore is 5-0 in the circle with a 0.89 ERA. Brooke Loudermilk continues the lead the Lady Mocs’ pitching staff in ERA at 2.27. She also has a 6-1 record in 2009.
