Jonathan Hodge is now ranked No. 22 in the Golfstat Cup
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- It’s on to Mississippi as the 12th-ranked Chattanooga men’s golf team travels for the inaugural Bank of America Intercollegiate. Ole Miss is hosting the 54-hole event at the Reunion Golf and Country Club, April 7-8, in Madison, Miss.
The Mocs are coming off a win at the Furman Intercollegiate. At the time, the tournament featured seven top 50 teams, two in the top 25 in No. 13 South Carolina and No. 18 Clemson.
Chattanooga will be without the services of No. 94 Fredrik Qvicker. Qvicker, pronounced Quicker, sprained an ankle and is out. Senior Tyler Neff will take his place in the lineup.
The Bank of America Intercollegiate has two top 25 teams and six in the top 50.
WHO: Jonathan Hodge. Hodge was honored this week as the SoCon Golfer of the Week for the second time this year (Mar. 12) and the SoCon Golfer of the Month for March. He is coming off his school-record third win of the season at the Furman Intercollegiate. He is now ranked No. 22 in the Golfstat Cup and 31 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Ratings Index.
