CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.---The Chattanooga men’s golf team is in the NCAA regional field by virtue of its automatic bid in defending its Southern Conference Championship at the Country Club of South Carolina in April. The Mocs look forward to hosting the East Regional May 15-17 at Council Fire Golf Club.
“It is not an easy road to the NCAA finals,” said Head Coach Mark Guhne. “Playing at Council Fire gives us an opportunity to start something special. We talk a lot about being a national contender. It is exciting, we can hardly wait for the announcement.”
Chattanooga will learn its face Monday evening, May 5, on an NCAA conference call at 6 p.m. Results will be posted on GoMocs.com as soon as possible following the announcement.
