AUGUSTA, Ga. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's golf team is in 11th-place after 36 holes of the Administaff Augusta State Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club.  Chattanooga shot rounds of 293 and 280 and is just two shots behind a trio of teams including No. 11 Illinois and No. 16 Alabama.

Host Augusta State, ninth-ranked in the country, holds an eight-stroke lead over No. 17 South Carolina with a total of 544 (-32).  The Gamecocks' second round 266 (-22) moved them to 552, seven shots ahead of third-place Tennessee.

Chattanooga shook off that opening score to follow with the eight-under par 280.  Jaeger once again led the way with a four-under par 68.  J.T. Clendenin shot his low round of the season with a 69 (-3), while Rende added a 71 (-1).  Fredrik Qvicker's 72 (E) provided the Mocs with four par or better rounds.

Jaeger is tied for 12th at six-under (138).  Rende is minus-one, at 143, and is tied for 33rd.  Clendenin's 69 gave him a one-over par total of 145.
