CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Stephan Jaeger (Munich, Germany) is now three for three at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  The junior earned his third PING All-East Region nod in as many years.

Jaeger joins Derek Rende (Soddy Daisy, Tenn.) as the only Mocs to win the honor three times.

"He had a great year," said head coach Mark Guhne.  "I've never had a player who prepares like Jaeger.  Everything he gets is earned and well-deserved.  He is our leader in every sense of the word, and I couldn't be happier for him."

He won his first collegiate title during the spring easily out-distancing a strong field by seven shots at the LSU National Invitational.  Jaeger was named SoCon Golfer of the Year for the second straight year and was All-SoCon for a third time as well.

For the season, Jaeger shot one-under par.  He is just the second Chattanooga golfer to play under par for the year joining former All-American Jonathan Hodge (Strawberry Plains, Tenn.) who shot nine under in 2008.  His 71.67 stroke average was the best in the SoCon by nearly a stroke and is second in UTC lore to Hodge's 71.41 in 2008.

He had three top fives and five top 10s overall while recording 16 par or better rounds with six in the 60s.  Three times Jaeger was named SoCon Golfer of the Week while also capturing Golfer of the Month for March.  He is currently ranked No. 53 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index.
