Fox & Weilguni Alternates for U.S. Amateur Public Links
Steven Fox (Hendersonville, Tenn.) & Benni Weilguni (Langelois, Austria) are alternates for the U.S. Amateur Public Links.  The duo attempted to qualify at Harpeth Hills Golf Course in Nashville, Tenn.  Fox was the first alternate shooting 141, while Weilguni was one shot back at 142.  The top three spots advanced as Scott Kammann of Baneberry, Tenn., topped Fox by one at 140.

Jaeger, Robb at British Amateur
Stephan Jaeger (Munich, Germany) and Chris Robb (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) are playing in the British Amateur Championship June 13-18 at Hillside and Hesketh Golf Clubs in Southport, England.  It's the third straight year Jaeger has competed at the Amateur, while Robb is making his first appearance.

Jaeger qualified for match play in 2009 at Formby and West Lancashire Golf Clubs and in 2010 at North Berwick and the legendary Muirfield links.  In both cases, he made it to the round of 32, losing in 2010 to runner-up James Byrne of Banchory, Scotland.

Jaeger one of the top-ranked German amateurs
Stephan Jaeger is the third-highest ranked amateur from Germany in the latest R&A World Amateur Golf Rankings.  The native of Munich is ranked No. 120 behind Philipp Westermann (85) and Marcel Schneider (108).  Jaeger received a wild card entry into the BMW International Open June 23-26 at Golfclub Munchen Eichenried in Moosinning, Germany.  The European Tour Event has been won by the likes of Martin Kaymer (2008), Henrik Stenson (2006), Miguel Angel Jimenez (2004), Lee Westwood (2003), John Daly (2001), Colin Montgomerie (1999), Paul Azinger (1990 & 1992), Sandy Lyle (1991) and David Feherty (1989 - inaugural event).

Upcoming Schedules
Weilguni and Davis Bunn (Knoxville, Tenn.) must share the same travel agent.  The duo played in a qualifier for the Southern Amateur at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville today (Tuesday, June 14).  Bunn and Weilguni each fired 69 (-1) to qualify for the prestigious event played July 13-16 at Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla.  Next up for both rising sophomores is the Rice Planters Amateur June 21-25.  The Rice Planters is a 72-hole tournament played at Snee Farm Country Club in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.  Fox finished tied for ninth there last year shooting 281 (-7), while Bunn came in 11th, a shot back at six under (282).

Fox's next appearance is at the Dogwood Invitational is June 29-July 2 at Druid Hills Golf Club in Atlanta.  Assistant coach Ben Rickett (Surrey, England) tied for 16th in the 2010 Dogwood at minus seven (281).
