The men’s tennis team will attempt to get back on the winning track this weekend as it hosts a pair of Southern Conference opponents.
The Mocs, 10-5 overall and 1-3 in the SoCon, have lost four straight matches, including three within the league after beginning the dual match season winning eight of nine.
In last season’s matchups, the Mocs lost at Appalachian State, 4-3 and at Furman, 5-2.
The Mountaineers are 8-6 overall and 1-2 in SoCon play. They have won two straight and four of five including victories over UNC Greensboro and Charlotte.
The Paladins own a 6-10 overall record and a 2-0 conference mark and host the
Chattanooga Head Coach Carlos Garcia has switched up his singles lineup in recent matches but rely on the corps of his team, seniors Badr Bouabdellah and Razvan Axente and juniors Peter Sauska and Pavel Vostrikov.
