Chadwell began the week with a (3-6, 6-1, ret) win over Western Carolina's Megan McLinden at No. 2 singles. She then posted a (6-4, 6-1) victory over Davidson's Katharine Dicconson at No. 3.
Chadwell teamed with Alexa Flynn at No. 1 doubles and the Lady Mocs' top pair came away with two victories last week. Chadwell and Flynn downed WCU's Ainhoa Iglesias Diaz and Megan McLinden, 8-2. Chattanooga's top doubles team then dropped Davidson's Stephanie Synn and Brites Moniz-Soares, 8-3, to clinch the doubles point.
The Franklin, Tenn., native is now 18-9 in singles play this spring, including a 7-2 mark in league matches. She leads UTC with a 21-6 doubles record. The Lady Mocs' 14 victories are the most for UTC since 2000.
This is the first time a Lady Moc has won two SoCon Player of the Week honors in one season since Anastasia Zhokova and Lindsey Ballard both won two in 2006.
