Grace Robinette, Annie Green and Arianna Sanjines each earned singles wins at their respective positions to help
The Lady Mocs swept all three doubles matches for the doubles point and the early 1-0 advantage.
Green’s 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles over Susanna Sjokvist proved to be the clinching victory for Head Coach Jeff Clark’s team.
Sanjines pushed the team score to 2-0 with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Emily Turke at the No. 6 spot, and junior Beata Knizat picked up a win at No. 4 by the same score over Mariona Trilla Janes.
Robinette produced a 2-6, 6-3, 1-0(5) victory over Trish Hanson at No. 2 singles.
The Catamounts, 3-13, 0-6, notched team points at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. Tessie Salame registered a 6-3, 6-4 win over senior Lindsey Ballard, and Amanda Massey defeated senior Bonnie Adams, 6-1, 7-5 at No. 3.
