The Player of the Week selections are made by the conference office. Competing at the No. 4 singles position for UTC, Singh earned a 6-4, 6-1 win over Mercer's Amanda Bertoni. She then earned her third consecutive singles victory with a 6-3, 6-2 decision over Western Carolina's Karen Jimenez Sarmiento.
Singh teamed with Jenna Nurik at No. 2 doubles and came away with two victories last week. The pair posted an 8-3 victory over Mercer's Amanda Bertoni and Lucie Payrat last Wednesday. The Mocs' tandem then improved their record to 6-3 in doubles play with an 8-5 victory over Western Carolina's Jimenez Sarmiento and Izabella Glinska.
Chattanooga is riding a three-match winning streak and is 5-4 overall. It is the Lady Mocs' best start through nine matches since the 1999 season. UTC is also in fourth place in the Southern Conference with a 2-1 record in league play. Chattanooga (5-4, 2-1 SoCon) returns to action March 16 when the Lady Mocs visit Stetson.
Other top performers in the Southern Conference included Elon's Bryn Khoury, Furman's Monica Arguello, Samford's Taylor Morgan and Wofford's Haley Baird.
