CHAOS ERA BEGINS
Tonight’s game marked the start of the Will Wade Era at Chattanooga. Wade is the 18th head coach in school history, seventh of the DI Era which began with the 1977-78 season. Wade immediately branded his program with “CHAOS”. It is aggressive, attacking style on both ends of the floor. For explanation via video & infographics, go here.

MOCS RECORD WHEN…
Chattanooga is 27-10 is season openers in the DI era, 21-0 when starting the year at home…91-1 against non.DI competition…2-0 against Covenant.

ATTENDANCE NUMBERS
Tonight’s game attracted 4,637 fans to McKenzie Arena including more than 1,500 students. It’s the largest season-opening crowd since 6,170 came to the Roundhouse on November 25, 1995 for a matchup with USC-Aiken. It’s also the largest crowd since then against a non-DI opponent. The 4,637 is the largest attendance since 5,166 versus UNCG on February 11, 2012.

CENTURY MARK
Chattanooga topped the 100-point mark for 39th time in the DI era. The last time it happened was last season with 108 vs. Reinhardt on December 21, 2012. The 119 points are the most since scoring 120 vs. Covenant to open the 2007-08 season on November 9, 2007. The squad had an amazing seven players in double digits.

LARGEST MARGIN OF VICTORY SINCE
The 63-point win is the largest margin of victory since 66 (124-58 against Tennessee Wesleyan on November 26, 2003). It’s just the sixth win of 60 or more points of the DI era. The last time the topped 60 was a 61-point win over Covenant on November 9, 2007.

CHAOS REIGNS
Chattanooga pressured 34 Covenant turnovers, one off the school record for opponent miscues of 35. That led to 47 points off turnovers for the good guys to just 17 for the Scots on the Mocs 17 giveaways. The 34 turnovers included 19 steals for the squad.

BLOCK PARTY
The Mocs 10 blocks are the most since the 2007-08 season. The team also record 10 in a win over Appalachian State on January 17, 2008.

GEE MCGHEE
- Sophomore wing had 19 points on 6-11 FG, 0-2 3pt and 7-7 FT in just 22 minutes of play.
- Career-high seven assists to go with five rebounds and three steals.
- Best FT performance of his career making all seven attempts best an 8-9 night on Feb. 21, 2013 vs. UNCG.

Z. MASON
- Senior post tallied 16 points, eight rebounds and a career-best five blocks in 20 minutes on the court.
- Made 7-13 from the field, 0-3 from 3pt range and 2-3 free throws.

GREG PRYOR
- Freshman point guard made his debut with 14 points, four assists and four steals.
- Went 6-6 from FT line.

LANCE STOKES
- Junior post had 13 points, five rebounds and a career-best five steals.
