2007 Had one of the most impressive seasons in NCAA history for a defensive player as she broke the NCAA Modern Era Single Season Digs record with 942 and became first Chattanooga volleyball player to the lead the nation in any statistical category, finishing first in digs per game with a 7.19 average...named National Libero of the Year by Collegiate Volleyball Update, Southern Conference Libero of the Year and was an AVCA All- South Region Honorable Mention...became only the second Chattanooga volleyball player to earn All-Region honors, joining Kari Krouse (2000-03) who was named to the team in 2003 and was an All-America Honorable Mention...was also All-Southern Conference Second Team and Southern Conference Tournament selection...enters 2008 only 393 digs away from breaking the NCAA’s all-time digs record of 2,791 held by Minnesota’s Paula Gentile (2002-05)...broke single season record of 924 (Gentile – 2004) with 39 digs against College of Charleston in Southern Conference semifi nals...became the Lady Mocs all-time digs leader with 35 digs against Lipscomb on October 16 and currently has 2,399 career digs...broke own UTC single season digs record with 25 digs against Western Carolina on October 30...currently holds the top three single season marks in program history...chosen as Collegiate Volleyball Update’s National Player of the Week and Southern Conference Co-Player of the Week for October 8-14...posted near record 45 digs in a match twice, including in 3-2 victory over College of Charleston on October 9...finished season with four 40-plus dig performances and ten additional outings of 30-plus digs...notched double-digit digs in 32 of 33 matches.
