Was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball for the Pioneers while also competing in basketball and softball...played for Catherine Neely on the volleyball court...had a remarkable run of First Team All-State, All-Region and All-District all four years while setting the state record with 2,425 kills and ranking second at the end of her career with 424...ERHS retired her uniform on Nov. 10, 2006 at the end of her senior season...Chattanooga Times Free Press “Best of Preps” 2003-06 and Neely-Merrill Award Winner in 2005 and Volleyball Player of the Year (2005)...named tournament MVP for the State (2005), Region (2005) and District (all four years) and all-tournament for the State (2005-06) and District (all four years)...East Ridge Female Athlete of the Year in 2007 and Scholastic Athlete of the Year in  2006 and 2007...National Player of the Month by Volleyball Prep Magazine in July 2007...named Tennessee’s Player of the Game in the Hardees Tennessee-Georgia Classic...led team to District, Region and Sectional titles in 2003, 2004 and 2005 while earning the TSSAA State Championship in 2005...also named “Best of Preps” in softball 2006 and 2007 with second team honors in 2005 and honorable mention in 2004 and All-State in 2006 and 2007...All-District in basketball in 2004 and 2005.

Laura Anne Brock...born Nov. 14, 1988 in East Ridge, Tenn....daughter of Roger and Diana Brock...four siblings, Rachel Guy, Katie Graff, Rusty and Meredith...mother Diana played basketball and volleyball at UTC...member of Beta Club, National Honor Society and FCA in high school where she graduated fourth in her class and was named University of Tennessee National Alumni Association Outstanding Achiever...majoring in Exercise Science.
