Freshman point guard Greg Pryor.
Season in Pictures: Greg Pryor

CHATTANOOGA, is starting a series called the “Season in Pictures” today recapping a memorable 2013-14. It’s only fitting to begin with freshman point guard Greg Pryor.

The Memphis, Tenn., native did something not seen very often at Chattanooga. He became the first freshman to start every game at the point in the DI era. Click the photo gallery link above for Greg’s season in pictures.

Three-Point Shot: Greg Pryor
1) First freshman to start every game at point guard for the Mocs in the DI era. Most starts (33) by a freshman point guard eclipsing Wes Moore’s 23 in 1995-96. Hall of Famer William Gordon played in 26 games as a frosh in 1973-74, but “starts” were not kept as a statistic.

2) Top Play: Game-winning charge taken with 1.1 seconds to play to secure one-point home win over Wofford.

3) Best game: 19 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals at Nevada in two-point loss on buzzer-beating three-point bank shot by Deonte Burton. The Wolf Pack tied for third with UNLV in the Mountain West Conference this season. is the official website of the Chattanooga Mocs.  The Mocs can also be followed on their official Facebook page or on Twitter.  Find out how to join the UTC Mocs Club and support more than 300 student-athletes by clicking here.
