CHATTANOOGA, continues its “Season in Pictures” series today recapping a memorable 2013-14. The fifth entry in the sequence is junior forward Martynas Bareika.

Three-Point Shot: Martynas Bareika
1) Marty ranked fifth on the squad averaging 9.4 points per game leading the team in three-pointers made with 57. He exceeded his career numbers entering the season in virtually every category.

2) Top Play: This is an easy one. The Mocs were down 70-67 with the ball and time winding down at Western Carolina. Bareika came off a screen and fired off a three from the left wing over a fast-closing Brandon Boggs. His aim was true eight seconds to play to send the game into overtime with Chattanooga capturing an 83-81 thrilling win.

3) Best game: Although Marty had many good performances, there is definitely a standout performance with a near 30-point game at Northern Kentucky. Starting for an injured Z. Mason, Bareika scored a career-high 29 points on 7-14 shooting (3-9 3pt) and 12-13 from the free throw line. This edges out his team-high 17 points at No. 22 UCLA. There he scored 15 in the second half including a 5-7 performance from beyond the arc. is the official website of the Chattanooga Mocs.  The Mocs can also be followed on their official Facebook page or on Twitter.  Find out how to join the UTC Mocs Club and support more than 300 student-athletes by clicking here.
