Mocs Complete Regular Season at Elon

ELON, N.C. --- It is a simple equation for the Mocs.  Win and you are the No. 2 seed, lose and you leave it up to fate.

“Our destiny is in our own hands,” said Head Coach John Shulman.  “Win, and you are a champion....you are remembered.  It doesn’t get any plainer than that.”

Chattanooga (17-12/12-7) is tied for the Southern Conference North Division with Appalachian State.  A win guarantees the two seed regardless of what the Mountaineers do against Western Carolina.

WHO:  Marcus Watts.  Watts was a force despite the lopsided loss at UNCG.  He scored a career-high 22 points while tying for game-high honors with six rebounds and adding three assists and two steals.

WHAT:  Chattanooga at Elon

WHEN:  Saturday, Mar. 1, 7 p.m.

HOW:  The Mocs have clinched a top five seed which keeps them on a three-day plan at the SoCon tournament.  A win garners the No. 2 seed.  A loss will put Chattanooga either at No. 4 or 5 depending on UNCG’s Monday night game with Western Carolina.
