Seventeen student-athletes were named to the 2007-08 Southern Conference Winter Academic All-Conference Team.
The list features a total of 137 student-athletes from five winter semester sports and all 11 Southern Conference schools. It requires a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 to qualify. Additionally, a student-athlete must have participated in at least one-half of their sport’s contests from the past season to gain eligibility.
Headlining
As a group, UTC’s women’s indoor track team led the way, placing six members on the All-Academic team, while women’s basketball placed four and men’s indoor track qualified three. Men’s basketball and wrestling each had two student-athletes make the team.
