- All three of McGhee's 20-point games came in the month of February with back-to-back efforts against The Citadel (22) and CofC (20). His career high of 24 vs. Elon came in the home finale.

- McGhee has already set school freshman records for steals (43), 3ptM (37), FTM in a game (13) and season (119), FTA in a game (19) and season (195), minutes (904) and tying seven other for steals in a game with four. He is 18 points shy of Keith Parker's (1978-80) record of 398 in 1978 and five free throws attempted from becoming just the sixth Mocs student-athlete to shoot 200 in a season regardless of year.

- White has been among the league leaders in FT% all year. His 82.8 percent (120-145) performance thus far ranks No. 10 in UTC's DI era. He shot 94.4 percent (34-36) for the month of February.

- White is heating up at the right time. After a tough year shooting the ball while making the transition to his unnatural position at the point, his shooting percentages are trending upward heading into postseason.

- White has set a UTC sophomore record for FTM breaking Stanford Strickland's (1981-84) 111 in 1982.

- Casey Jones started the first 11 games before a knee injury robbed him of 14 games. He returned to the starting lineup vs. Elon and since that point he is averaging 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 68.2 percent (15-22) from the field.

- Three Mocs have topped 100 free throws made this season, a first in the DI era. The trio - White (120), McGhee (119) and Mason (102) are the 28th, 29th and 30th UTC student-athletes to eclipse the 100+ mark in the DI era. The last to do it was Nicchaeus Doaks (2006-09) with 139 in 2008-09. White and McGhee are close to cracking the top 10 on the list with greats Johnny Taylor (1997-98) and Tim Brooks (1991-92) tied for 10th with 123. McGhee (195) is five attempts shy of becoming the sixth Moc to top 200 for a season with Doaks the last to do that as well with 221 in 2009. Season and career record lists are on page 7.

- The Mocs have lost 85 man games to injuries this year.

- Junior Trevis Simpson leads the conference in scoring at 18.8 points per game.

- The Spartans are shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 33.6 percent from three-point range and 68.1 percent from the free throw line. They allow opponents to shoot 43.4 percent from the floor including 35.6 percent from beyond the arc.

- Derrell Armstrong (14.6) and Kayel Locke (10.1) also average in double digits.

MURRAY ARNOLD
The Chattanooga Mocs lost a legend on Nov. 14, 2012 as former Head Coach Murray Arnold passed away in Florida. He laid the DI championship foundation coaching for six years, 1980-85, with a 135-46 record. He coached collegiately at four institutions (Birmingham Southern, Western Kentucky and Stetson) amassing a 420-229 mark in 22 seasons. The Mocs captured four SoCon Championships in six UTC campaigns advancing to three NCAA Tournaments and two NITs reaching the Elite 8 (NIT) in 1985 and narrowly missing the NCAA Sweet 16 in 1982.
