The Lady Mocs have won five of their last six games and are tied with Elon for third in the SoCon standings. Over the six game stretch, Chattanooga is averaging 72.5 ppg and has been outrebounded just once. Overall, UTC has raised its scoring average to 67.4 points and 37.1 rebounds per game. The Lady Mocs are third in the SoCon in scoring, second in 3-pointers made and fourth in field goal and 3-point field goal percentage. Whitney Hood remains atop the league standings in scoring with 20.3 ppg, second in field goal percentage (54.4%) and fifth in rebounding (7.1). Kayla Christopher is 18th in the league in scoring with 11.5 ppg, fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (43.8%) and ninth with 3.2 assists per game. Tenisha Townsend, averaging 9.0 ppg is third on the team in scoring, third in the SoCon in assist (4.1/game) and third with a 1.8 assist-TO ratio. Kylie Lambert is averaging 8.5 ppg and 6.1 rebounds per game and Bailey Dewart is fourth on the team with 5.5 rebounds per game.

SCOUTING APPALACHIAN STATE (20-4, 14-2 SoCon)

The Mountaineers are on a 10-game win streak and lead the SoCon with a 14-2 mark. ASU leads the SoCon in scoring with 75.7 ppg and has a 13.5 scoring advantage over its opponents. The Mountaineers leads the league in field goal percentage making 45.9 percent and hold opponents to a league-best 37.4 percent. App State has three players in the top seven in the SoCon in scoring led by Ashlen Dewart's 16.8 ppg. Sam Ramirez ranks fifth in the league with 16.6 ppg and Anna Freeman is seventh on the list with 14.3 ppg and leads the team with 6.5 boards per game. Dewart is the team's top shooter making 55% of her attempts while Canesha Edwards is third in the league making 51.8 percent of her shots. Freeman and Ramirez are 1-2 in the SoCon for steals with 3.3 and 2.6 respectively.

SERIES HISTORY

This will be the 71st meeting between the two teams since they first met in 1980. UTC holds a 48-22 advantage over the Mountaineers and are 22-7 at home. ASU snapped UTC's 26-game win streak earlier this season, however, with a 70-54 win over the Lady Mocs in Boone.
