Chattanooga held on to third place in the Southern Conference standings with a win over the College of Charleston on Saturday at the Roundhouse. The Lady Mocs are third in the Southern Conference standings with 63 points per game and scoring margin with a 5.3 points per game advantage. On the boards, UTC is ranked third in rebounding offense with 41.7 per game and have pulled down more than 50 rebounds five times this season. The Lady Mocs are second in free throw percentage, averaging 73.6 percent made per game, but suffered several subpar outings at the charity stripe, falling from first. UTC is shooting 38.9 percent from the field and 29.4 percent from beyond the arc. Whitney Hood leads the team in scoring with 12.8 points per game and is third in rebounding with 5.9 per game. From the field, GSU is shoot 38.4 percent and is sixth in the SoCon making 31.3 percent of its shots from beyond the arc.
