Chattanooga closes the season 22-10. Memphis is 25-7 and will take on Missouri State in the second round in Springfield on Saturday.
Chattanooga is 4-5 in the WNIT.
Chattanooga's bench outscored Memphis 24-2, led by Dupree's 10 points
Chattanooga used a 15-0 run to get out to its largest lead of the game, 23-7, with 10:42 to play and led by 16, 25-9, with 10:01 to play in the first.
Memphis went on an 18-2 run over a 6:34 period to take cut UTC's lead to 29-27 with 1:45 to play in the first.
Memphis scored the first points of the game at 19:22 and led 2-0. The Tigers would not lead again until the 3:48 remained in the game and led 56-55 on a free throw from Jasmine Lee.
