- The Chattanooga Mocs improve to 13-3 overall and 5-0 in Southern Conference action with a 77-57 win at Western Carolina today.  WCU falls to 1-3 in the SoCon and 7-8 overall. 

- UTC improves to 64-11 all-time against WCU with its seventh straight win in the series. 

- Chattanooga has won nine straight overall and 21 consecutive SoCon regular season games.

- The Mocs are 8-0 on the year when scoring 70+ points.

- UTC has 20 assists on 29 FGs…second most assists this season.

- The Mocs led the game wire-to-wire.

- UTC scored 17 points on 16 WCU turnovers while allowing just 7 on its 11 miscues. 

- Western Carolina got 37 points off its bench, compared to just 21 from UTC.

- The Mocs were outrebounded 32-31…second time in last three games they have been beaten on the glass.

Ashlen Dewart – Sr.-F
- 11 points on 5-8 shooting and 1-2 from the FT line.
- Tied for game-high with six boards in 23 minutes.

Taylor Hall – Sr.-F
- 15 points on 6-9 shooting, 1-1 from 3-pt. range and 2-3 from the FT line.
- Added five boards and a game-high six assists.
- 66.7% from the floor is best shooting percentage this season.
- 15-16 from the FT line last three games.
- Third straight game with exactly 15 points.
- 911 career points

Chelsey Shumpert – Fr.-G
- Game-high 16 points.
- Shot 6-10 from the field, 2-6 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Added three assists and two steals. 
- Sixth game in double-figures this season.
- 9-14 (64.3%) from the field last two games.
