Senior Chris Berry (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) will lead the Mocs across the 10-kilometer course in hopes of reaching the NCAA Championships to be run at the end of the month in Terre Haute, Ind. Giving him strong competition in the event will be teammate sophomore Lucas Cotter (Collierville, Tenn.) who finished right behind Berry at the Southern Conference championships to earn all-conference honors.
Rounding out the men's team will be all-conference performer Mark Cole (McKenzie, Tenn.) Nathan Wanuch (Mississauga, Ontario) and Drew Austell (Memphis, Tenn.).
The women's team will be headed up by senior Tara Gietema (Knoxville, Tenn.). Joining her on the pitch for the 6-kilometer run will be Morgan Buchanan (Johnson City, Tenn.), Gabby Cader (Cleveland, Tenn.), Keeley Stewart (Winchester, Tenn.), Jessica Philpott (Manchester, Tenn.) and Jenna Nick (Columbia, Tenn.).
The men's race begins at 11 a.m. Eastern Time followed by the women's race at 12:15 p.m. Race results will be available at GoMocs.com.
