CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Current and former runners racked up the awards at the 2011 BlueCross BlueShield Riverbend Run Saturday, June 18 in downtown Chattanooga.

Berry, the Southern Conference champion in the 10-kilometer, was the overall winner in the Riverbend 10k race with a time of 31:48.22, nearly two minutes faster than the second place finisher. Two years ago Berry ran the Riverbend Run 5K and served as an intern last year.

Former Lady Mocs Lanni Marchant and Anneli Uys also brought in top prizes. Marchant, the 2007 Southern Conference Female Athlete of the Year, was the overall winner in the women's 10K with a time of 37:22.87.

Two-time NCAA Outdoor Track qualifier Anneli Uys, a 2010 graduate of Chattanooga, won the women's 5-kilomter race in a time of 18:30.86.

Berry, an Academic All-District, has one season remaining with the Mocs. Uys ran her final cross country race last fall for Chattanooga while Marchant graduated in 2007.
