Owen Seaton begins his ninth year with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletic Department. He became the deparment's Director of Creative Services in the summer of 2007 after spending two years as an Assistant Sports Information Director.

Seaton serves as the managing editor of the Athletics Department's official website, GoMocs.com.  He serves as Executive Producer of the department's coaches television shows while overseeing all video production, including internet video streaming and facility videoboard content and editing as well as assisting with special projects. He also manages the department's digital revenue streams, which have increased at least 20 percent in each of the last four years.

Seaton's has international experience, directing the in-venue videoboard shows for soccer at the 2011 Arab Games in Qatar and will direct the figure skating and short track skating at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.  He is also slated to direct the 2014 NCAA Men's Basketball Regional Final in Memphis this March.

Seaton was hired as an Assistant Sports Information Director in October of  2005. He handled the day-to-day media and public relations duties for the Mocs men's basketball, men's golf and volleyball teams. He also assisted in the daily operations of the Sports Information Office as well as football gameday operations.

Seaton served as Sports Information Director at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tenn., from 1999 to 2003. While serving as one of just two administrators in the school's athletic department, he handled various duties within the department, gaining valuable athletics administrative experience.

As the Director of Sports Information, he was responsible for all media and public relations operations for the 2002-03 NCCAA Men's Basketball National Championship team.

Seaton earned his bachelor's degree from Tennessee Temple. He is also a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University's Center for Sports Leadership, receiving his M. Ed. in 2004.

While a student at VCU, he worked closely with the Rams' men's basketball team. Seaton served as Broadcast Services Coordinator and aided in production of the school's radio and television shows during its run to the 2004 NCAA Tournament.

A member of the College Sports Information Directors of America, IDEA, and Sports Video Group.  Seaton is a native of Vienna, Va. He and his wife, the former Kathy Watson of Tillamook, Ore., have a daughter named Lauren.
