2009-10

Recorded two starts in his 24 outings...missed the first seven games of the season due to a hand injury...first action came at home against Elon (12/5)...best game of the season came in the first round of the SoCon basketball tournament with his only double-double of 2009-10 with 10 points and career highs of 12 rebounds and three assists in the win over Georgia Southern...first double-digit scoring night came n a perfect 4-4 from the field, 2-2 from three-point range, in the home win over UNC Greensboro...also had 10 points at The Citadel and at home against Samford in his first career start...nine points, eight boards and two steals in Dr Pepper opening round victory of Long Island.

2008-09

Sat out Fall semester (six games) due to NCAA transfer rules enrolling Spring 2008 at UTC after starting out at Oklahoma...first game of the season was at Davidson where he scored nine points in 12 minutes hitting three-of-four from three-point range...scored season-high 13 points in 12 minutes at Alabama...posted first double-double of his career with 11 points and season-high 10 rebounds in win over Tennessee Wesleyan with season highs of two assists and 21 minutes played...one steal against UNCG, Furman and Western Carolina, all on the road...one block at UNCG and at home against College of Charleston...outstanding off the bench in SoCon Finals with six points and five boards in four minutes played, all first half...eight points (2-3 from 3pt range) and four rebounds in eight minutes in NCAA Tournament loss to UConn.

HIGH SCHOOL

Early ranked in rivals.com top 150 overall and No. 27 at shooting guard out of Huntington High School...was a high school teammate of O.J. Mayo (Memphis Grizzlies) and Patrick Patterson (Kentucky)...helped lead HHS to a 25-2 record and the West Virginia AAA title and a No. 8 national ranking as a senior...HHS won three consecutive state titles with a 74-6 record...two-time honorable mention All-State while earning first team All-State tournament...twice won West Virginia high school slam dunk competitions and helped lead the Boo Williams AAU team to a second-place finish nationally playing alongside Patterson, Chris Wright (Georgetown) and Ed Davis (North Carolina).
