Hank Cobb is the General Manager of Mocs Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Communications and the exclusive multimedia rights holder for the Chattanooga athletics program. His primary responsibilities include oversight of the MSP staff and the day-to-day operation of the Mocs Corporate Partner Program.
MSP focuses on revenue generation for Chattanooga Mocs Athletics by growing existing sponsorships as well as securing new clients who can achieve their advertising, marketing and community relations goals via Mocs athletics programs.
Before relocating to Chattanooga, Hank spent three years as an account executive with Hurricane Sports Properties at the Learfield Sports and ISP Sports joint venture partnership with the University of Miami. He managed sponsorships with notable corporate clients such as State Farm, Applebee's, BP, the Florida Department of Transportation, PGA of America, Schick, Publix, SunTrust and the United States Marine Corps.
Prior to joining Learfield in 2005, Cobb worked as an event coordinator with Octagon, helping to set strategic direction and to manage The Home Depot's corporate sponsorships, most notably ESPN College GameDay Built By The Home Depot.
Originally from Atlanta, Cobb graduated from the University of Georgia with Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Marketing and International Business. Two-and-a-half years of job training with Newell Rubbermaid in sales and event marketing capacities helped to pave the way towards a career in sports marketing.
