2011 • FRESHMAN SEASON: SoCon Freshman of the Year ... 11 TDs (six passing and five rushing) in five games at QB ... five rushing TDs is No. 2 on UTC's all-time freshman list ... six passing TDs tied for third among all-time UTC freshmen ... only Moc with 100 yards rushing in a game (115 at Elon and 114 at Georgia Southern) ... played in the first three games of the year as a receiver, catching one pass for one yard at Nebraska ... became the first Moc since James Roberts in 1989 to earn three-straight SoCon Freshman of the Week honors following Georgia Southern,  Western Carolina and Elon games ... first in the SoCon to do that since Appalachian State's Armanti Edwards in 2006 ... off the bench for nine carries for 29 yards and one TD at Samford ... also 3-3 for eight yards passing on an injured ankle against the Bulldogs ... 87 yards and one TD on 32 carries against Furman ... most carries by a Moc since Eldra Buckley had 33 against Appalachian State in 2005 ... 11-13 passing for 140 yards and three TDs at Elon ... also ran for 115 yards on 14 carries ... first Moc QB to run and pass for 100 yards since Tony Meredino in 1978 ... passed for 123 yards and three TDs on 7-11 attempts against Western Carolina ... also ran 14 times for 72 yards ... came in off the bench for the injured B.J. 2010 • REDSHIRT SEASON: Sat out as a redshirt ... made the Athletics Director's Honor Roll both semesters ... made the SoCon Honor Roll with a 3.0+ g.p.a. for the year.        

HIGH SCHOOL:  Tennessee Mr. Football Division I-A Back of the Year award winner from South Pittsburg High School in South Pittsburg, Tenn...all-state selection at quarterback who led the Pirates to the I-A title game...Chattanooga Times Free Press Best of Preps Player of the Year...district offensive player of the year and team MVP...threw for 1,687 yards, rushed for 1,322 yards and scored 46 total TDs as a senior...played for head coach Vic Grider...four-year letter winner in basketball and district player of the year as a junior...two-time time Chattanooga Times Free Press Best of Preps basketball player...Salutatorian who is also a member of the Beta Club and earned the Highest Grade in Algebra Award...represented Marion County at the Leadership Summit in Nashville.
