FALL 2013
Saw action in all five team events in the fall…averaged 74.64 strokes per round counting in 11 of 14 rounds…low round was 70 in the second round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge…four par or better rounds…best 54-hole total was 220 at Carpet Capital and AutoTrader.com Collegiates…tied his career high of six birdies in the opening round of the season at the Carpet Capital…tourney high of 13 there as well…14 pars in second round of AutoTrader.com Collegiate was his best of the fall…36 total pars there as well…Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2012-13
Competed in 10 events, twice as an individual…stroke average of 74.30 for the year, 73.56 in the spring (18 rounds)…three top 10’s with a best of fourth at Savannah Quarters Individual…tied for sixth and held sixth outright at BancorpSouth Intercollegiate and SoCon Championship…best 54-hole total came at Bancorp South firing five-under par 211…shot 69 (season low), 71 and 71 over his three rounds…also shot 69 at the Savannah Quarters Individual…career-high 15 birdies at Savannah Quarters with career-best six for second 18…75 birdies for season with 329 pars…second on the team with four eagles…high of 37 pars at Bayou City Collegiate…15 in final round of Brickyard Collegiate is also a career high…10 par or better rounds all came after turn of calendar to 2013…counted 18 of 24 rounds…Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2011-12
Played in eight events, one as an individual…his hole-in-one on the 181-yard 16th hole (eight iron) keyed the Mocs NCAA Bowling Green Regional title…best finish was a tie for 35th at Carpet Capital Collegiate Classic to open the season…best round of 71 (-1) in the final round of the AutoTrader.com Collegiate Classic…high of five birdies in final round of Rees Jones Invitational…tourney high of eight at Rees Jones and Linger Longer Invites…posted high of 14 pars in his first two rounds of the year at the Carpet Capital and tied it in his last at the NCAA Championship at Riviera C.C.…tournament high was 39 at Carpet Capital…38 birdies and 228 pars on the season…counted in 11 of his 18 rounds, five of six in NCAA postseason events…Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2010-11
Southern Conference All-Freshman team…averaged 73.85 strokes per round…one of three players (Steven Fox, Chris Robb) to play in all 11 events…counted in 29 of 33 rounds…two rounds in the 60’s with 10 total par or better…low round of 67 came in second 18 of Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate with a spotless card of four birdies and 14 pars…low 54-hole total also came in the Mason Rudolph as he shot 215 (+2) following up an opening round 80 with rounds of 67 and 68…93 birdies and 357 pars playing par or better more than three-quarters of his holes…four or more birdies in 13 rounds with a high of five (twice – Mason Rudolph/Brickyard)…13 rounds with 12 or more pars with a high of14 (5 times)…led team with 38 pars at NCAA Colorado Regional which was a school record in an NCAA event…15 par or better holes in a round 13 times…Dean’s List and Athletic Directors Honor Roll in both semesters.

FARRAGUT HIGH SCHOOL
Led the Admirals to back-to-back state titles playing for Scott McKenzie…2010 PrepXtra Player of the Year…played at Farragut with two other DI signees in his class (Brandon Rogers – Tennessee and Hayden Anderson – Georgia Southern)…dominated the 2009 Knoxville Amateur with a seven-shot win and was medalist at the 2009 McDonald’s Tournament of Champions beating Georgia signee Keith Mitchell by four strokes…two-time Region Tournament Champ (2007, 2009)…won three times on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour in 2009…finished tied for 14th at the 2010 Tennessee State Open and tied for 21st at State Amateur…11th at the 2010 Rice Planters Amateur shooting six-under par 282…qualified for 2008 United States Junior Amateur.

Davis Alexander Bunn was born March 4, 1992 in Knoxville, Tenn....the son of David and Joan Bunn…two brothers, Brandon and Tyler (Davis’ twin)...Brandon played golf at Memphis…majoring in Business and General Management.
