C.J. Recher is an Account Executive with Mocs Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports and the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Chattanooga athletics. His primary responsibilities include revenue generation by growing existing sponsorships as well as securing new corporate partners who can achieve their advertising, marketing or community relations goals via Mocs sports programs.

Prior to returning to Chattanooga, Recher spent two years in the Nashville area working in NASCAR for Dover Motorsports at Nashville Superspeedway.  He also spent a few months as an account executive with the Nashville Sounds Baseball Club, the AAA affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.  Duties for both positions included revenue generation via ticket sales in the areas of corporate hospitality, suites, group outings and season packages. Before his move to Nashville, Recher served as the clubhouse manager at Moccasin Bend Golf Club in Chattanooga focusing on customer relationship management and retention.

Recher holds two degress from UTC.  He earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Sports Administration with a minor in Business in 2006, followed by a Master’s of Business Administration from the College of Business in 2008. He worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Business & Financial Affairs assisting with the management of the university’s grants and contracts.

Recher is originally from the Chicago area, but was raised in Knoxville, Tenn. He and his wife Jennifer, also a Mocs alum, were married in August of 2010.
