Brent joined the Chattanooga Mocs Ticket Office in June 2012. He began as the assistant director of ticketing aiding in all areas of athletic ticketing at the multiple Mocs facilities and in the event ticketing at McKenzie Arena. He was promoted to the Director of Ticketing in the summer of 2013.
McMillian made his move to Chattanooga from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. He served as graduate assistant in the ODU athletic department. He assisted the Director of Event Management with operations management for athletic events from January 2011 until his move to the Scenic City.
Brent was the Promotions and Merchandise Manager/Box Office Assistant for the Asheville Tourists Baseball Club, the Class A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, during the 2010 season. He had a wide-range of responsibilities within ticketing, marketing and promotions for former Mocs ticket manager Brian DeWine who is now the President of the Tourists.
McMillian began his professional career as Operations Intern for the American Junior Golf Association. He worked the 2009 AJGA calendar helping run 12 consecutive week-long golf events across the country.
Brent received his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee majoring in Sport Management in December 2009. He completed his MBA at Old Dominion during the spring of 2012. He was active in the UT Alumni Association Hampton Roads Chapter while at ODU developing and maintaining the group’s website.
McMillian was born in Chattanooga but was raised in Augusta, Ga. He and his wife Amber welcomed their first child, Carson, in October of 2012.
