Chattanooga Lady Mocs Postgame Quotes

Head Coach Wes Moore
Opening thoughts on the game:
"I liked our effort again. Technique-wise, we are still not doing some things defensively that we want to do. We have to get everybody to buy in. We got some points offensively, but we have to get everybody to buy in defensively and get them to do what we want them to do. I like the fact that we got some turnovers. I like the fact that everybody contributed and everybody brought something to the table."
On games coming quickly this time of year:
"This being a road game, tomorrow we are going to have to do some things. Tomorrow we will watch film and we will shoot and walk-through, maybe lift weights. We will try not to be too hard on them physically so we can be ready to go on Saturday."
On the play of the younger players:
"Destiny played well. She has been practicing well. She hit five out of five free throws. She had a set play where she downed a three. Tatiana played a great game. That is what Tatiana can bring to the table. She knocked down some threes and shot the ball extremely well. Four steals, she can get in the passing lanes."
On earning playing time in practice:
"I want to play a lot of people. I want to go to our bench and continue to create depth, but you have to earn it. We are not going to just give it to you and play you just because you are here."
On the play of Taylor Hall and Ka'Vonne Townes:
"Taylor is just playing phenomenally. I only played her 20 minutes tonight - she is probably mad at me. I wanted to get some other people out there - Ka'Vonne Townes. Ka'Vonne brings another dimension when she is out there. I thought defensively she made some plays. She knocked down a three also and got six boards, so she brings something to the table. It was a well-balanced attack."
