TEAM
- The Lady Mocs stay in first place in the Southern Conference race with a 60-46 win over Samford tonight ... UTC improves to 19-3 overall and 12-1 in league action while the Bulldogs drop to 11-11 and 8-5 in league play. 

- Chattanooga is 9-0 at home this season, extending its home-winning streak to 22 games with tonight's win...Lady Mocs' longest winning streak in McKenzie Arena was 25 games from Dec. 4, 2004, through November 10, 2006. 

- UTC trailed at the half (25-22) for just the fourth time this season.  Lady Mocs are 2-2 when trailing at the break.

- Samford hit its first four 3-pt. FGs in the game to build a 12-3 lead at the 15:04 mark of the first half.  The Bulldogs were 2-19 from behind the arc the rest of the game.  Samford's 23 3-pt. FG attempts tie for the most by a UTC opponent this season (Wofford - 11/29). 

- UTC got 21 points off the bench - Jackson (10), Towns (5), Dupree (4) - compared to just one from Samford's reserves. 

- Lady Mocs dominated the paint with a 34-14 scoring advantage.

- Leading 42-40 with 9:49 left to play, UTC used a 10-2 spurt to take control of the game.

- UTC outrebounded Samford 46-35 ... most rebounds for the Lady Mocs since grabbing 57 at Alabama on Dec. 8.

- Chattanooga is 9-0 when scoring 70+ points, however, the Lady Mocs have not reached that plateau in the last five games.  UTC still won all five of those games and nine straight overall.
