CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.---The Chattanooga Mocs athletics department announces the hiring of several new staff members in support of more than 300 student-athletes covering a 17-sport intercollegiate athletics programs. New hires are included in athletic training, compliance, equipment and strength and conditioning.
Andrew Disney joins the Mocs as the new Director of Compliance. He spent two years at Radford as an assistant director after a stint as compliance assistant at Georgetown. He is a graduate of South Carolina (Bachelor’s) and West Virginia (Master’s).
Sarah Rabe was added as Senior Athletic Trainer earlier this summer. She works with soccer and as clinical support. Rabe came from Memphis and is a graduate of Radford before working as a graduate assistant at Arkansas.
Daniel Assey is another early summer hire as Assistant Director of Facilities and Equipment. He came from Wofford where he was assistant director of facilities and head football equipment manager. He got his degree from USC Upstate, also in Spartanburg.
Greg Goldin joined the athletic performance department replacing Jeff Andrews as Assistant Director of Athletics Performance. Greg works primarily with men’s basketball but has a variety of sports in his strength and conditioning care. He came from Murray State where he aided the men’s and women’s basketball, golf and tennis programs. Goldin also worked at VCU with its basketball squad while studying at the center for sports leadership.
